Celebrated writer, activist, and social commentator Margaret Atwood has achieved both critical and commercial success since her first book of poetry was published in 1961. Creating monumental works in poetry, fiction, literary criticism, non-fiction and children’s literature, Ms. Atwood is now a key figure in Canada’s literary canon. She has received many industry accolades including the Governor General’s Award, Los Angeles Times Prize, Ritz-Paria-Hemingway Prize, Toronto Arts Award, and the American Humanist of the Year Award.
