Renowned realist painter, Ken Danby, is best known to Canadian audiences for his sports images. Among them is his seminal work, At the Crease (1972), a painting featuring a masked hockey player that has been reproduced many times since its creation. His works have sustained both commercial and critical success, exhibiting in galleries such as The Museum of Modern Art in New York and The Art Institute of Chicago.
The Toronto Congress Centre creates beautiful events enriched by the world’s finest art. We support and honour Canada’s talented artists.
