The Toronto Congress Centre (TCC), a division of Congress Centres Inc., announced today it has integrated a collaborative and interactive experience for event planners to transform pre-planning communication using SMART Technology.

This advanced technology is visual, interactive and makes it easy to keep discussions on track and allow changes to all schedules and floor plans instantly. The Toronto Congress Centre is continuingly looking at ways of improving productivity and efficiencies to better improve the customer experience. This new technology supports their customer centric philosophy and will inspire meaningful discussions, create digital records of meetings and connect with remote customers. It is the first of a three phase innovation that positions the TCC as a global leader in event planning communication.

“Our customers will receive first-hand information to better understand the benefits of this type of collaborative technology.” says Alain Sutton, Chairman and CEO Congress Centres Inc. “It is vital for our Centre to acquire such significant advances in technology to lead and transform the way our industry interacts in the communication planning. It is really quite a corporate showpiece before the event even starts.”

Since opening in 1995, The Toronto Congress Centre has hosted many of the largest and most prestigious meetings and expositions in Canada. In 2005, The Toronto Congress Centre was the first trade facility in the Americas to receive HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) accreditation and has continued to achieve the prestigious rating annually by offering the highest level of food safety practices worldwide.
