Position Description:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a hands-on strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute on sales plans to achieve corporate and personal goals. The ideal candidate is a connected individual with well established contacts in the corporate and association world enabling new business opportunities. As the successful candidate, you will be able to achieve goals as outlined in the yearly budget, work with the Director of Business Development on all marketing and sales strategies, initiate sales calls, both in the GTA and wherever the new opportunities may take you, identify decision makers and influence business through presentations. Preparation of monthly sales plans and objectives are key as well as the ability to quickly change direction if so required to achieve goals. The BDM must have sales experience, strong business acumen and “at best” in a networking environment. A savvy individual able to adapt to different buying styles is essential in your success. The ability to travel as outlined in the sales plan as well as conduct sales calls in the local GTA is required.

Education:

A diploma or degree in business or programs related to sales and marketing.
