Toronto, Ontario (January 2011) – The Toronto Congress Centre (TCC), a division of Congress Centres Inc., hosted Canada’s largest distributor of industrial, safety and fastener products, Acklands-Grainger Inc. (AGI) within days of adding to its existing 1,000,000 sq. ft. complex, an impressive 30,000 sq. ft. pillar-free ballroom. The new ballroom hosted more than 3000 of AGI guests for their gala dinners and themed events.
The newly finished ballroom that joins The Toronto Congress Centre North Building, which opened in February of 2008, providing a perfect setting for meetings, general sessions, and exclusive galas. The modern clean design and the latest in brand lighting effects provided something very unique to its planner.
Alain Sutton, Chairman & CEO, Congress Centres Inc. was pleased that the north ballroom was completed on time as committed to AGI but also impressed them with the infrastructure and purpose of the north building. “This was a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate The Toronto Congress Centre’s exceptional levels of care and expertise, world class standards and our unprecedented sustainability program. Our dedicated team is embracing the opportunity to prove to the world why The Toronto Congress Centre has become renowned and rewarded for its ability to be Great Experience Makers™.”
