Position Description:

  • Answer and direct all incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Greet, announce and direct guests and clients
  • Provide administrative support to sales and executive office staff

Position Title: Business Development Manager

Position Description:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a hands-on strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute on sales plans to achieve corporate and personal goals. The ideal candidate is a connected individual with well established contacts in the corporate and association world enabling new business opportunities. As the successful candidate, you will be able to achieve goals as outlined in the yearly budget, work with the VP of Business Development on all marketing and sales strategies, initiate sales calls, both in the GTA and wherever the new opportunities may take you, identify decision makers and influence business through presentations. Preparation of monthly sales plans and objectives are key as well as the ability to quickly change direction if so required to achieve goals. The BDM must have sales experience, strong business acumen and “at best” in a networking environment. A savvy individual able to adapt to different buying styles is essential in your success. The ability to travel as outlined in the sales plan as well as conduct sales calls in the local GTA is required.

Required Qualifications:

Position Title: Event Logistics Manager

Position Description:

  • Manage all event logistics of assigned bookings from pre-event, during event and post event
  • View role as if you are the customer at all times
  • Complete and process event tasks adhering to timelines
  • Ensure all information such as pricing, event orders, event resumes are inputted accurately and distributed as per guidelines
  • Initiate and set meetings well in advance to ensure timely flow of information
  • Provide a positive, intelligent presence with customer at all times
  • Always be proactive in offering common sense suggestions to customers especially at the pre-planning stages
  • Must always maintain and protect the integrity of the TCC while balancing the customers expectations
  • Understand and be knowledgeable of the purpose of the events, who attends, who exhibits and broader scope of intended goal or outcome

Position Title: Sales Coordinator
Position Level: Administration

Position Description:

  • Provide Support to the Business Development Managers and VP of Business Development, including but not limited to:
  • Completing Sales proposals, contracts and other forms as requested by clients
  • Assist with tradeshows, client events, site tours
  • Keep detailed client notes regarding correspondence, required follow-up, research, etc.
  • Correspond and follow-up with clients on outstanding items, required information, etc.
  • Assist with office coverage and duties including reception, filing, faxing, etc.
  • Manage Sales Budget, complete Purchase Orders and ensure that budget guidelines are met
  • Assist with special projects as directed by VP of Business Development

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of Adobe Professional software an asset but not required
  • High level of organizational ability, ability to multi-task and support many people at once

Position Description:

  • Ensure timely and precise set-up and execution of all food and beverage events and meeting set-ups
  • Ensure cost control measures are being followed, monitor labour costs, follow loss prevention strategies and inventory controls
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Assist in planning and delivery of all employee training programs, provide leadership and support to all staff
  • Respond to all customer requests, maintaining a positive and confident image to all clients
  • All other duties as assgined

Required Qualifications:

  • Good understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) priciples
